I did last week at 16 weeks, it seems too early.
I don't know if its to do with the fact im usually quite skinny 8/10 but at 5ft 11 thought i'd have more room longwise and more to do with non stop eating to get through the constant nausea.

I was size 8 when I got pregnant with DS1. Started wearing maternity clothes at about 8 weeks as nothing fitted my boobs and bum anymore. Blush

I was size 8 when I got pregnant with DS2. I'm now 31 weeks and wearing my normal clothes.

If anything, I've put on more weight this time so I can only assume that your body takes on a different shape each time. Clothes that I wore while pregnant last time also look misshapen and odd so I think it's completely down to the individual pregnancy.

God, pretty much as soon as I popped positive. I got very big, very quickly and just kept growing! x

Ah don't feel so bad now.
Definetly a good bit of fat and bloating going on as well as a wee bump.

I was a size 12 when I got pregnant with DS1 and was a size 18-20 after he was born. Got down to a 14 before getting pregnant with DS2 and just ballooned when I got pregnant with him. I secretly quite liked being enormous though Smile

DD it was around 16 weeks for work clothes as they had a rigid waistband, same this time too. Normal casual clothes still fit ok. I know I had maternity jeans on by 16 weeks before too as it was my sils birthday and I know I wore them then. At the moment I just look fat though, not a proper bump just round all my waist, will be 18 weeks tomorrow.

Yip i just look like a barrell with arms and legs sticking out at the moment, not at all pregnant lol

Tops are pretty much fine but at 9+4 I have today given in and bought some maternity jeans and am now blissfully comfy! I couldn't wear my normal trousers any longer as they were digging right across the beginnings of the bump and causing a lot of discomfort.

I was a size 8 when I got pregnant with DS and by 7 weeks I couldn't fit into any of my clothes. I started as a size 10 this time and was in my maternity jeans by 5 weeks Shock Im a petite build so I just pop out straight away. I had a very neat bump at the end with DS and no extra weight on my arms and legs despite being big at the start (put on a stone in first trimester Blushmy DM was the same when pregnant) Basically dont worry that you'll continue to grow at the same rate!

Ds1 I was a size 6 and got some size 8 and 10 maternity jeans about 24 weeks. But I was showing very early but it was bloating, I ended up putting 4st on. Ds2 I started at a size 8, but lost a stone in first trimester (nausea) and went to size 6. I remained In my clothes all way through till he was born. I'm now 10+4 with 3rd size 8 but can tell I'm going to be massive this time I seem to be swollen everywere lol. I wouldn't worry about it, each pregnancy is different xxx

Hi lookingfoxy with DD1 was wearing maternity clothes at exactly 12 weeks. Am an 8/10 but shorter than you at 5ft 8. This time round with DC2 didn't buy any till 17 weeks but I have been ill this time round. Now at 23 weeks I have a big bump and slim arms and legs! Completely difference to my first pg - and am expecting another girl!

16 wks with DS1, 24 wks with DS2 - but was larger to start with, and didn't put on much weight in first trimester.
