I'm 35 weeks gone and need to sort some nursing bra's out.............who shall I go to for fitting? I know the NCT have people but I can't get hold of my local agent so was thinking either Mothercare or M&S...........

What do you recommend?

John Lewis was fab for me too.

No point getting measured tomorrow then, when I am near a John Lewis...........does it need to be 38 weeks?

Don't go to Mothercare, their bras don't give enough support. John Lewis are fine, as are M&S - depends what sort of bra you are looking for really. If you want something halfway pretty (quite a tall order for nursing bras) I like the Elle Macpherson range.

runtus, where are you?

Def John Lewis and wait until about 38 weeks - hopefully will have 'dropped' and therefore get a better idea about sizes.

Mothercare ones don't give enough support IMO and my norks were too big for M&S (I was a J cup in nursing bras) they have now settled down a bit so I can wear M&S ones. IMO John Lewis are better for fitting and advice. Smile

God Cuba - how long ago was that..............sigh. Oh well, guess it's butlins for us for the next 18 years and I better get used to it! Grin

I'm in Basingstoke.

Will give the NCT number I have another go tomorrow and if I can't get hold of her, I'll wait till 38 weeks and get my other half to drive me to John Lewis............was going to go to Bluewater tomorrow when i see my mum but not going to bother now as I'll no doubt change shape loads betweeen now and the birth.

NCT are supposed to have a half price sale in breastfeeding awareness week (14th May).

May be worth just getting 1/2 now and then stocking up then (plus, your size may change after the birth too).
