All ready for my elective section now!! Got dh to shave me to avoid the painful dry bic shave done by a midwife and did a fake tan on my pasty face! We considered writing a little message in diamante on my lady bits for the surgeon or shaving one in, like "Welcome" but decided it might distract him!

red37 · 20/04/2006 09:36

You could do a pen line that says 'cut here'

CHICagoMUM · 21/04/2006 18:41

Thanks girls. Just a little update. Still have sore fingers from typing the whole birth story on the may babies thread yesterday. Had a wonderful experience compared to last time baby Theo Jack was born at 10.11am on friday and I was home by lunchtime on Sunday.

Sadly no-one commented on the wonderful shave but the photos of skin to skin in the recovery room looked markedly better for me being fake tanned, I highly recommend it.

Congratulations :)

desperatehousewife · 24/04/2006 18:11

many congratulations! But the important stuff is - which fake tan did you use?

hockeymum · 25/04/2006 12:25

No. 7 mousse, although I prefer their spray one which is fantastic! Haven't had time to look at the long fake tan roll call thread yet though!
