Pain and waves of nausea at 7+5

I am 7 w 5 d pregnant and have not yet had any symptoms of pregnancy at all - no sore breasts, no sickness, no spots, no tiredness, no increased trips to the loo; absolutely nothing. I had a mmc in September and with that pregnancy, I had all those symptoms from very early on - 4 weeks.

Today I am experiencing sharp pains (I would probably pinpoint them in the area of my ovaries) but with each one I get a wave of nausea. Now I know that sickness is obviously common in pregnancy but I am only getting the wave of nausea with the sharp pains. I had a mmc in September so maybe I am just very aware of every little sensation now.

Does this sound normal? I am due to have a reassurance scan at EPU on Wednesday but am just worrying about these pains with nausea.

I would recommend phoning your Midwife (if you have one yet) or NHS Direct.
Everything is probably fine but they might ask you to go to hospital for a scan to rule out Ectopic. Good luck!

Go see your GP today if you can. I think you ought to rule out an ectopic.

I phoned the midwife and she told me to contact the EPU. The assessment unit was shut but the nurse on the ward didn't seem too concerned, I think because the pains are on both sides. She said to take paracetamol if I needed them but to go to A&E if the pains got worse or I was concerned. I will keep an eye on things and go to A&E if it doesn't settle down.

Thanks for your replies ladies
