Am now 17 weeks and keep suffering from these awful headaches. Got some co-codamol from the doctor but don't like to take it too often and these are daily (all day today so far Sad). Anyone got any good tips to get rid/avoid them? Thanks.

Hello, I have had the same problem for the past 4 days and I am 16 weeks. I drink lots of water and put cool pads on the back of my neck. Doesn't make them go away completly but eases them off to a slight ebb. Hope this helped

I have been getting really bad headaches and the midwife told me to drink plenty of water and lots of little meals. This has really helped.
I can always tell if I have not drunk enough water as the headaches start. Hope this helps a little bit.
It is best to double check with the dr/midwife as well as she said sometimes it can be to do with blood pressure.

Thanks. Blood pressure is fine. Will go and have a glass of water...

I had this too, was awful like migraine. I took paracetamol religiously every 4 hours, even though I felt bad doing it! A heat pack that you can bung in microwave or hot water bottle around your neck or a cold pack. Lots of water, regular food, rest.... I felt like the headaches would never go but they did (am 20 weeks now) hope you shake it soon, know how horrible it is!
