I don't hand any other children but I found I was fine. I didn't feel any pain ( was on para x 4 times a day and diclofenic twice a day.

I felt strange ehen walking about as if my middle wasn't very stable but was able to do everything I needed to. Dp hoovered but I did everything else that I normally would do.

Had no issues bf

Was Drivibg again in 3 weeks but felt able to after two weeks

I felt much better after the c section than I did carrying my big twins. I had the best nights sleep the night of my section. I could actually turn over in bed! On the whole, it was a good experience and the recovery wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I had my section at 6pm and got up to go to the loo at 6am, once they removed the catheter.

People recover differently.

I have had two emcs and never needed painkillers. Was up after 2/3hrs with both and cared for both dc from the beginning without help. I was discharged after 12hrs first time round and about 30hrs second time round.

After the second I obviously had an older child to deal with too. She started school 4 days after her brother was born and I was doing the school run daily, normal chores etc. Was back to gentle cardio a few weeks in and running again by 8 weeks.

Listen to your body, take the drugs regularly if you need them and get up asap. Don't slouch, though it's tempting. Stand tall, it feels weird but you won't split open. Promise.

Thank you all very much.
After having such a horrible experience first time round there's no way I could go through that again and by the sound of it its all positive comments so far. X
