Slightly less strong movement at 32 weeks

Hi all, just a quickie. I'm 32 weeks with my first and although my bump isn't that big I've been told my baby is quite long. He's always been quite kicky but for the last few days he's been more squirmy. Not been moving any less as such, but not as big movements as before.

Can anyone tell me if they experienced the same kind of thing? I don't know if it's normal because he's bigger and there's less room?

I will probably call my midwife tomorrow to check but wanted some reassurance (hopefully!)

Thanks xx

I would call your MW to get it checked - I'm sure it will be fine, but they do say that you should get any changes to movements checked out - better to be safe than sorry.

Go and get checked tonight op, will probably be fine but reduced movement can sometimes be a sigh that all is not ok.

Im 32+3 and at this stage there is less room for baby to move so instead of lots of big kicks, there are fewer and lots more wriggly movements like baby is pushing from inside. it's nothing to worry about but call your mw if you feel like you should. as long as baby is moving, all is good! Smile

I've had a listen to his heartbeat with my dopplar and it seems normal. He is fairly active, thank you all for your advice, I think it's a bit late to bother my midwife now but I will call tomorrow just to check xx

I would phone midwife/hospital tonight, everything is probably fine but it's always better to be safe than sorry, you will not be disturbing them, there will always be someone working and able to answer the phone.
