Cravings....what do you fancy right now?

My God, I fancied fish cooked with green tomatoes. BIL brought some back from mil's and I've cooked them for tonight. Can't wait for dinner.

Gone off chocolate tho!

I feel sick all day and evening so not much....but when I got in bed last night all i could think of was fish and chips smothered in salt and vinegar lol!!

I crave extra strong mints, not necessarily the taste but the texture of them chewed up, the feeling of my tooth brush and cleaning my teeth and the smell of bleach! This is my second pregnancy and both times the cravings have been more about textures and smells. Mind you, I do have a sweet tooth now, which I dont usually.

I am currently demolishing a packet of ginger biscuits.

I have been wanting sausages and bacon, but now we have loads in the fridge left over from scout camp I can't face them. Anyone know what to do with 20 odd sausages that can't be refrozen?

greenj1 some proper fat chips with salt and vinegar (malt, not white) would be lovely. Had chips on the way back from camp on sunday but they weren't very good.

My cravings are Special K cereal, crumpets & potatoes. (Not all together)Not very exciting but can't get enough of them! Smile
Could just eat a crispy jacket potato with curry sauce! :)

Oh yeah Im drinking loads of milk at the minute, it seems to settle my tummy :) I could eat a jacket spud right now, cooked in the oven so all crispy with real butter and cheese...yummy!

I really wanted mash potato with mint sauce at lunch today, we have no mint sauce or mint in the house though so I'm sulking.

Yes to proper fish and chips, I went through a massive craving for chips from my childhood chippy, which is unfortunately 200 miles away from where I live now. DH had to go fetch chips from every chippy in our area but none of them were the right chips.

I'm craving fruit and veg at the moment. I suspect that's due in large part to how little of it I ate over Christmas. Blush

Abz- you could make up a batch of sausage rolls. Or sausage casserole and free it! Then you can re heat it! If you have a slow cooker you can just bung it in for the day as freeze that evening. Grin

I am craving this apple and finer drink that's £1.50 a throw.... Have bought some apple juice and some ginger cordial and have now sussed the right amount so it tastes similar! I can't get enough of it!

I craved some winegums, had pretty much a whole packet and feel a bit nauseous now.. oops.

I went off chocolate with my first pregnancy! I went off anything sweet really. This time around I'm eating a bit less chocolate than pre-pregnancy but not off it completely.

i didnt think i was having cravings this time round apart from needing to eat lots of jelly babies. and before christmas it was cheese. i was dairy free for a very long time as i BF DD and she stopped BF just after i got pg. think my body was needing more calcium!

BUT today i have made DH drive me to ikea for some of their swedish apple cake. and he came home from work last night armed with punnets of cherries and blueberries which i promptly scoffed. i do so need to start eating healthier now christmas is over and i'm beginning to pile on the weight but i just have no willpower Sad

Peppa - that's what I was thinking, but I don't have much space in the freezer. If I eat the ice cream a casserole might fit though, and I'd have a tub to put it in...

Mango juice, my god the craving is strong and ive just drank the last of my stash Sad thank god im close to the end (38+2). Hope the baby comes out smelling of mango.......yum

Not cravigns as such as I am very suggestible, example being that someone only has to metnion some kind of lovely food stuff in passing and BAM I NEED THAT EXACT THING NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

Am fidning I am needing strong tasting things, full of spice, heat - hot and sour soup is a favourite.
And bread but then that's my all time favourite and I'm just taking advantage ;)
