Bleeding and scared

I am 4 weeks pregnant and have light blood when I went to the toilet.

I rang the doctors who said it's not a guarantee of miscarriage but I did also get a severe cramp in the night.

It's obviously so early nobody knows yet but my sister says this can be normal. I am however petrified.

Has anyone else had this ?

I'm 5+3 :/ a few days ago I had terribly heavy bleeding and clots the size of my palm, emergency doc referred me to the EPU and had an internal scan, they couldn't see why I was bleeding..... But they said the baby had implanted too low and they need to wait and see what happens, I have a scan next Friday but Im not too hopeful of anything being there. Pregnancy symptoms seem to have gone too :(

Not sure if this may help reassure any of you who have had bleeding, but I had unexplained bleeding & cramps from about 8 weeks on & off until about 34 weeks. Had scan after scan & internal after internal. I had a healthy baby girl 3 days overdue! Feeling your pain xx

Can I join this not so happy band? I'm maybe 6 weeks and have woken up with cramping and some brown discharge. Been resting up for a few hours and its not too painful but I'm not feeling very hopeful. It seems such an uncertain time for all of us, these first weeks.

Am I alone in thinking if it is the worst then I'd like it to happen quickly so we can try again? Reading these miscarriage threads does not make for cheering news.

I am about 5 weeks pregnant, and on Thursday evening I started light bleeding, and having a little stomach cramps. Friday I went to the Early Pregnancy Unit and they said that I'm still pregnant and that the I need to return back in 10days. I am really scared, as I have continued to have a flow of red blood, and only this morning I had a small pea size blood clot.

Me too. I'm 11+5, good healthy scan on Friday but I've been bleeding & cramping since yesterday morning. Went to A&E and I'm waiting for EPU to contact me in the morning when they open.

Thanks winner38 the EPAC contacted me first thing & I had a scan at 10am. Everything's ok thankfully. The offered no explanation for the bleeding. I hope it works out for you x
