....is this "normal"?

Over the last couple of days I've had a muscular type ache in the top L and R of my bump. I'm 21wks and already have quite large bump, is it just muscular or should I be concerned? I'm seeing my midwife next on 5th Feb but I am tempted to give her a call, however I'm also not wanting to because it sounds so trivial IYSWIM.....aargh I was never a worrier til I got pregnant!

Can anyone help please?

Ooh I had this too yesterday and today, both times walking up hill pushing my son in his push chair. It went away as soon as I stopped walking so didn't think anymore of it until reading this. Watching thread with interest. (Also 21 weeks)

It's really uncomfortable isn't it? Like a stitch almost. I even tried having a bath and I just couldn't get comfortable enough to stay in it.

Might be your ribs stretching. Is the baby high up? Does it feel better if you lie down and take your bra off?

Ha ha my last comment sounded like a come-on o_O

LOL Katolla.....at least buy me a Wine first!

Could be ribs....bras do feel very tight at the moment. Was just a bit concerned as googling only helps with lower, not upper bump pain. I've had such an easy pregnancy so far (no symptoms whatsoever) I was bound to get something!!

Grin katolla

I get this as well, I think it must be pretty normal.
