A very faint line. I'm pregnant, aren't I?

Been TTC for a while, and POAS this morning, and got a very faint line in the T window. AF was due yesterday, and no sign.

I've also had very puffy eyes and upper cheeks the last few days, is this a symptom? Never had anything like that with PFB (3.5).

Advice please!

A chemical pregnancy is where the egg gets fertilised but fails to implant. That can result in a positive pregnancy test (especially since these days the tests are so sensitive) early on but you then go on to have a period, often a bit late.

Sounds about right. I'm not really sure how to feel, it's a bit like a cruel joke my body has played on me.

Actually really sad now.

I had a couple when TTC (we had fertility problems) and I think they are heart breaking :(
How long have you been TTC?

OddBoots · 09/01/2013 12:00

Sorry it wasn't to be. Sad If it helps at all I have 3 times fallen pregnant the cycle after a chemical, for my body at least a chemical seems to put it in the right 'mode'.

Well, we haven't been using protection for about 9 months, but I've only figured out my fertile days in the last 3 months or so after finding a great app on my phone that helps me track my cycle. It's called My Days X for anyone that's interested and has an Android.

I know it's early days, but I'd built my hopes up sooo much since getting the BFP that I just feel crushed now.

That's good to hear OldBoots, let's hope it does the same for me.

Just be a bit wary with those apps, they're not bad but they go on an average rather than any specificity to yourself. I used one that predicted I ovulated around day 15 but temping and OPKs, along with my scan dates (I'm now pregnant) I ovulate more like CD11! Make sure you have sex from when your period goes, three times a week, every week to guarantee to hit the right time.

Okay, good to know!

I'm sorry to read this. I was hoping the end of the thread would result in a BFP!

I have my fingers crossed for you for next month. Good luck :)
