bleeding at 17 weeks - in need of reassurance

Hi all,
think I may have jinxed myself yesterday posting on here and being all excited. Just had a bleed after sex (sorry, TMI). I think it looked worse than it actually was because of (sorry, TMI again) additional fluid, but it was bright red, no clots. I have rung the delivery suite, and they have said to monitor for an hour and go to A and E if it gets worse, but really just want some reassurance from you lovely ladies.

I am sure there are lots of you who have experienced this (or I really hope that is the case), if you are one of those people, can you help calm me down please? Thanks everyone!

I got this too and read that it was normal because there is so much extra blood in that area. One person posted that her GP told her this would happen from the off.
This calmed me down anyway!

I had this. Looks worse than it is due to vaginal juices and come Blush! Likely to be of no consequence, but it does scare you doesn't it?

thanks ladies, that's what I thought. It seems to have stopped now, so I am going to just relax for the day and keep an eye on it. will just have to try not to let this put me off sex any more than I am already...

Just wanted to add some more reassurance, I've had 6 episodes now and have a thread here with the details, been told not to worry :)
