I'm 23 weeks today. Meaning ill be 6 months next saturday. But adding 12 weeks onto that makes me being 9 months on 06.04.13 but I'm not due till 04.05.13
Any one care to explain?

If you are 23 weeks now, you will be 6 months pregnant in 3 weeks time (52 weeks = 1 year, so 26 weeks = 6 months).

Pregnancy is estimated to last 40 weeks, not 9 months.

So your EDD is about right :)

Pregnancy actually lasts 40 weeks...so technically it's 10 months but no one ever says that. Plus it's calculated from your lmp so you are considered pregnant before you have been conceived.

24 weeks isn't actually 6 month as there's only Feb with 4 weeks in it out of the year, the rest have 2/3 more days which in turn adds up. So like happy said its 26 weeks which is 6 months. And like last posters said 40 weeks is the length of pregnancy xx
