Should I be doing this?

I don't see why not. I take it your close by and can check on her?

Eletheomel · 05/01/2013 16:08

As long as you have a baby monitor and check on her regularly, I don't see that this is a problem.

FoxyRevenger · 05/01/2013 16:10

I did it with my second because he couldn't sleep with the noise from my first.

VisualiseAHorse · 05/01/2013 22:49

Yes, as long as you either have a monitor and/or check on her regularly.

Gooseysgirl · 05/01/2013 22:54

I never would have got a thing done otherwise!! I used to race into the shower and bring the monitor with me so if DD woke I'd hear and be able to get to her again in seconds..

SIDS advice is that all sleep (including naps) should be taken in the same room as you until 6m+.

Clargo55 · 05/01/2013 23:00

The current SIDS advice says you should not. But your baby your choice.
