i did a pregnancy test on wednesday and it came back positive, so when my partner got in from work we went out and bought a digital clear blue what tells you how many weeks pregnant you are, test came back negative and so did the other 3 i did yesterday so really confused at the moment, i should have come on my period round about the 20th-24th of december :s

Ive read that the clear blue ones aren't the most accurate.
For me I used chepo ebay ones and 2 superdrug ones and they all came back positive 3 days before my period was due.

If the first test was done with first morning urine and the ones you did latter weren't, that's probably why. Less hcg concentration in urine the more you drink throughout the day. Try again tmrw with first wee

I've heard that the Clear blue digital ones aren't very sensitive.

I would test again using first morning urine. It's possible that you ovulated late in your cycle if your period is this overdue and that you are pregnant but it's too early to show on a less sensitive test.

When I was pg with DD2 I waited until my period was really late before testing. The line was so faint that I almost dismissed it. I was confused because when I had tested at that stage with DD1 the line was so dark that you couldn't miss it. When I tested a week later the line was there properly and when I went for the 12 week scan I wasn't as far gone as I thought - instead of being 14 weeks like my dates worked out by LMP I was actually 12. I had ovulated later than usual.

Been there done that. 29 weeks preggo with my "not pregnant" baby. Feint positive on a cheapo one, then negs on clear blue, clear blue digital and first response early. Finally tested again two weeks later and was nearly 8 weeks gone.

I didn't get a positive until 8 weeks, do you have symptoms?
