I was at a friends and absent mindly ate a handful of peanuts. I am 26 wks pregnant and my DH has a severe nut allergy. I don't have any nutballergy but an worried that baby may be hurt as I have consumed the peanuts. Does anyone know whether they can cause harm to baby?

Spoke to MW and she just said at they wouldn't recommend eating them, but didn't tell me what could happen now I have. Am really angry at myself.

You'll be fine. The advice on eating nuts was changed as there isn't any evidence that eating or not eating nuts while pregnant makes a difference to allergies in children.
