still getting period pain at 12 weeks!

Hi

I will be 12 weeks pregnant tomorrow and am still getting period type pains. I have been having them on and off for as long as I can remember. My midwife thinks it's due to everything stretching as I had a previous cs. I have had one scan at 8 wks and everything looked normal and she has decided to send me for another one which will hopefully be this week. Has anybody else had similar pains and everything has been ok??? I had a miscarriage last year and am worrying myself sick that it will happen all over again.

Yes, I too had some pains, everything was normal .

I have period pains and I also pink discharge over the times I am due for my period. I am now 6 months pregnant and I am still getting it!

I went to my midwife when this started to happen and she said it is perfectly normal and the pink discharge is too. Only if its red fresh blood do you need to worry a bit - I have had this happen and I was sent up to the hospital to be checked over, they told me its just down to ligaments stretching!!

Try not to worry to much about the period pains, I know thats easier said than done if you have suffered a miscarriage in the past but my pains were perfectly normal :)
