Wii fit / exercise when pregnant?

Well, that really! I'm 20 weeks, and am quite sedentary - I work full time at home, so long hours sitting down. I need to think of a way to get some gentle exercise in; I live in a very hot Muslim country so most simple things like having a walk ar not really an option.

My brother has offered to lend me his wii fit, any experience of this? Or other recommendations for DVDs / ideas and inspiration? Thanks!

My friend tried weighing in on it when pregnant and it couldn't cope with her weight gain! I guess you could do the gentler stuff.

Zorra, it should be fine, as long as you're sensible & don't try & push yourself..or do any crunches/sit ups.

There are a few videos like on youtube if you prefer to have someone talking to you.

And do your pelvic floor exercises! Grin

Wii fit is pretty low impact if you stick to step and boxing at the lower levels. I haven't tried the stretches etc since my BFP as I'm not sure which would be safe. I've also avoided jogging as it made my ms worse in the early days.
I never weigh myself on it as it'd depress me but I do around 40 mins a day and I haven't had any problems so far :).
