Ok, iv done something so stupid.
I don't really take painkillers and me being the clumbsy pregnant woman I am, I read the back and I'm sure it said take 4 every 2 hours. So iv done that.. For the last 6 hours... That's a total of 24 tabs in 6 hours Iv had such a bad back ache?
Should I go to the hospital? I'm 22 weeks pregnant.

I feel like such a poopy mother already.

What was it that you were taking? I would go to the hospital to be checked out, chances are you might be fine but rather be safe than sorry, and please do let us know how you are.

Yeah they where cheap superdrug paracetamol!
I'm now having belly ache, iv had it for the last few days, but I think its worse now, I don't know if I'm just being paronoid or..

Yep, a&e - 12g paracetamol will need treatment.

Go to a and e, 12g in 8 hours is a big dose.

Wouldn't wait for your boyfriend, call an ambulance if you haven't got enough money for a taxi, get boyfriend to meet you there.

Straight to hospital - treated early you'll be ok, later can be fatal liver damage at that dose. Hospital. Now.

4 every 2 hours for 6 hours is 12 tablets not 24? Still an OD, still needs hospital treatment and blood tests ASAP.

Yes A&E straight away. Don't panic they will be able to give you the treatment you need but you need to get there fast to give the treatments plenty of time to work.

Potentially 16 tablets? 4 at time 0, 4 at 2hrs, 4 at 4hrs and 4 at 6hrs.

Ah yes I see! Either way, 2 x 500mg every 4-6 hours with a max of 8 in 24 hours is the only safe dose. Paracetamol is very dangerous at any more than that, either in 24 hours or shorter. 12 / 16 / 24 in 6 hours is potentially very risky. Hopefully OP in ambulance receiving treatment.
