I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have noticed an increase in discharge, I know this is normal but the smell has changed and is much more noticeable. I just wondered if anyone had any experience of this or knows what it could be?
Thanks in advance x

it can increase a lot in the 3rd trimester

is the smell unpleasant or just strong, it is a different smell (stronger) than normal but shouldn't be unpleasant/fishy or discoloured

It's not unpleasant (as it can be from down there) but has increased a lot and I can smell it all the time. It isn't discoloured.
Does that sound normal?
Thanks for your post

yup, strong but not unpleasant smell sounds normal to me, it can be a lot, some people have to wear panty liners for the 3rd trimester because of it

If it goes an odd colour or an offensive smell get medical help, otherwise don't worry

Ok thanks so much! First pregnancy and worrying about these kinds of things. And it's so personal you don't want to ask a friend or mum!!
