18 weeks with some spotting

Just noticed small amount of blood today on wiping. None on my panty liner. Just wondering if anyone else has had this and if I should try and see GP tomorrow? Any advice much appreciated.

I would ring the midwife now, I was told any blood needs checking out and to ring them if I had any.

You shouldn't leave it til tomorrow if there is bleeding, don't you have the number for the midwife?

No don't have a number. It was very little amount and no pain. Read in pregnancy book that I shouldn't worry for a small amount so will see how it is overnight and see gp in morning if there's any more tonight I'll go straight to a&e. Have had the normal flutterings today and feeling fine. But I will get it checked out as know that bleeding is not 'normal' at this stage.

I have had spotting twice this pregnancy, once at 14 1/2 weeks and once a week ago 171/2 weeks, first time pinky red, I waited overnight and had abit more in the morning, enough to stain panty liner, I got scanned at hospital and all was well, no cause given, 3 weeks later the same enough for one liner but just brown, this time nothing has been done and mw didnt seem worried at all as it was brown, she said had it been pink/ Red again they would scan, going to a &e is in my opinion a total waste of time ( unless bleeding heavily) as you will sit for hours and quite often there is no one to scan anyway - I suggest doing as planned and calling gp/ mw tomorrow morning and seeing what it's like, I only had it for a day both times but even if you have no more just phone and let them know and let them advise you
