ok so here's the scenario I'm currently 8 + 4 in my 3rd pregnancy. First one ended in MMC I had bleeding on and off with repeated scans an hcg level tests for it to end at 10weeks. 2nd pregnancy had bleeding early on everything was fine at 17week had big bleed an had brown blood until about 26 weeks everything went ok up to the end.Now with this one I had a to y bit of pink blood when wiped on Xmas night an every so often getting brown blood. No pains and everything else seems ok sickness everyday, sore boobs extreme tiredness etc I've had my first app with midwife but still waiting for booking in an scan date. I basically need someone to keep me sane if it was going to be a miscarriage nothing can be done to stop it an really with my history it may not an so I should relax an wait for scan, what do you guys reckon?

I think that you should go to GP and see if you can have a referral to EPU, given your history and the fact you have been bleeding. At 8 weeks you could see heartbeat and whilst its not a guarantee that all will be okay, it gives you reassurance and you know what your odds are. That's what I'd do anyway.

Good luck.

Would it be Gp to refer me rather than midwife? I can call first thing Monday if so. At the moment I'm just burying my head don't know if that's the best thing to do!!

I had similar issue and saw GP as I wasn't booked in with midwife at that early stage. I suspect GP was a bitter sympathetic than midwife would have been too - though that obviously depends on your GP and midwife! Some EPUs let you self refer too (mine doesn't but not sure where you are).

Worth an GP appointment anyway I think - you must be worried.

*but more, not bitter!

Sorry!
