41 weeks bright red blood.

I tend to be a bit under cautious and assume everything is okay, and am just wondering if this Is this normal? I'm 41+2 and over the last couple of days have been loosing my plug.
Today my discharge has got a lot thinner and is contains a lot of bright red blood. I'm just not sure if bright red is bad, my plug was darker old blood and looked like the photos on Google.
So is this expected as part of labour or in the run up, or should I be a bit worried and call antenatal? Baby is moving as normal and midwife was happy with growth/heartbeat earlier in the week and she did a sweep then.

7lb 15 baby boy. Both of us are doing fine, just waiting on some blood results to see if we can be discharged later today.
