Does a normal labour start like braxton hicks - painless hardening of the bump, quite regularly?

I didn't have a normal labour with ds, so I don't know!

Right, sorry, this is a very quicky.

daniel Edward was born at 3.30 am on tuesday 18th april.

He was 8lb 4.

4.5 hour labour (active!
