I know people who carried on horse-riding right to the very end (without any ill effects). I know that's against standard advice, but they felt comfortable in their skills and, maybe more importantly, in the horse, too.

I know I kept cycling until very end and some people would say that's not ok, either.

I stopped at 10 weeks, had a bleed after a rather 'fun' jumping session. missed it like hell, miss it still a year later!!!!!

Hoping to get back before this summer.

Have friends who continued until they dropped, but the bleed scared me.

I Love to ride but due to the expense, unfortunately don't get the opportunity as often as I would like these days!

I am also pregnant, 11 weeks tomorrow, and have a holiday planned in 3 weeks with my mother who rides extremely regularly. I am thinking about risking it but not sure as will be on an unfamiliar horse. I rode a few times during my last pregnancy but knew the horses well.

best be safe than sorry, you can still snuggle the horses. Chatsworth trials coming up, and we have a farm near us, where I can go for a horsy cuddle. DD hates them, hope she changes her mind later
