With dc 1 I think I felt him move at about 21 wks, with dc 2 earlier at 16. I had my 12 wk scan today, actually dated at 13 wks with dc 3 but for the last week I have been feeling occasional squirming in my tummy. Am not sure if its just my digestive system, my mind playing tricks or if it could actually be a baby. What do you think? Its a bit early isn't it?

Hi I am in my second pregnancy, been feeling fluttery feeling since about 13 weeks, wasn't totally sure about it though like you put it down to being digestive movement and i thought its way too early... Had my 12week scan at 14 weeks and am now confident the fluttery feelings were they baby as I could feel them just before the scan and baby was very active during scan... Go with you gut (sorry for pun) feeling if you think it might be the baby it probably is...

Sit back and enjoy!

Wiv baby 1 I felt her abt 20 weeks for sure, but had been having light fluttery feelings for about 2 weeks which I could swear were her 2. Therefor I go wiv my gut as elt says and believe it was her.
Im 10 weeks wiv my second and can't wait to feel him/her for the 1st time.
X

I'm 19 weeks and feel like I can feel movements, but I'm still not sure.

I was about 21 weeks with dc1. And about 12 weeks with dc2. I think I felt them a lot earlier as I knew what the feeling was like by then, there were several weeks with dc1 where I just thought my digestive system was being a bit more active than usual Blush

I was around 15 weeks and I had an anterior placenta, which the midwife was a bit :o that I could feel her so well.

Now at 25+6 I can feel her all the time. :)

18 weeks I was at my doctors in the waiting room and u just felt like really crazy thud in my side and I remember saying out loud wtf was that and it happened again a couple minutes later! God how I miss that feeling!

Pritchyx · 30/12/2012 23:58

I'm 20+5 with my first, and I had occasional flutters at 16 weeks, very rare though, and now get movement and small kicks every few hours for at least half hour at a time!

I think it depends where the placenta is and where baby is lying - my little lady has been awkward the whole time so far! X
