cramping in bladder at 39 weeks

I am almost 39 weeks pg, and booked in for an ELCS in a couple of days.

This is DC2. DC1 was a back to back baby, who I hardly felt move at all.

This baby is a wriggler, though obviously movements are lesser now than they were when baby had more room to move around in. Baby seems to stretch (or something) and put horrific pressure on my bladder. The feeling does not make me need to go to the toilet, it just feels like my bladder is cramping and going all tight. The pain sometimes radiates down into my thighs or into my lower back.

Is this BH? It is very uncomfortable, but my bump doesnt go tight all over?

I haven't a clue what it is but I'm due today and I've been getting the exact same thing for the last 2 - 3 weeks, bloody uncomfortable!!

I've assumed it's Braxton hicks, never had them with DD so all a bit new to me.

Good luck with the ELCS, this one is currently back to back so a little worried Confused
