To cut to the chase. Im 18 weeks with my first so i dont know anything much about what to expect at all. Ive had dodgy liver function tests come back and they have been querying cholestasis or pre eclampsia but im still very early. Ive had a neurological condition in the past that has affected my bladder but it just means that sometimes i cant empty it at all. abit like a uti.

Last night i woke up in the middle of the night and this has never happened to me before.. Id wet myself Blush not on the sheets but my knicks and pj bottoms were wet and because i was half asleep i just got myself all changed and tried to go back to sleep. So weird and embarrassing though its never happened to me before. Ive heard of peoples waters breaking really early before.. Could you mistake that for wee or is it really obviously different?? I have no idea what it looks/feels like to be aware of i feel physically fine and im working a 12 hour shift today with nobody to cover me. Sitting here fretting. So embarrassing i bet its nothing. Can anyone reassure me?

Have you washed the PJ's/knicks yet? If not, give them a sniff (not a deep inhale obviously lol) it will be apparent by now if it was urine. If it doesn't smell of wee, then please do go and get checked as there is the slim chance it was your waters leaking. A lot can be done about it these days so don't panic!

Good luck
