Anyone overdue and want to moan?

Am 40+9 today. Had second sweep today and am 3cm dilated (bit more than I was at first sweep on Xmas eve) and have had show but not in labour as no contractions or pain. Things keep seeming to start then it all just stops. Feel emotional and generally off colour - headache, hot, exhausted, discombobulated. Booked for induction nye.

Dd was on time so I smugly thought I was good at this having babies on their due date things. That'll learn me.

hi first off sorry your feeling like this and yes id like to moan too. am 40+5 today and have a sweep booked for today. i have had no signs of labour happening anytime soon i am in constant pain with my back and knees and my feet have swollen up so much. the thing im finding hardest is the worry that something will go wrong before this baby is born ( logically i know this stems from 2 mmc) but i just want my baby here safe and sound now! i hope the sweep sets things going for you and you are cuddling your lo very soon.

Me too! I'm 40+10 today and feeling pretty fed up. I've also been getting headaches. 1978 have you mentioned the headaches to the midwife? My BP was ok yesterday at my last sweep, but just wondering if all is ok now.

I'm also booked for induction on New Years Eve. Not the nicest thought just now. Really hoping that nature will take it's course before then!

I'm 40+6 with DC1 and am so bored and fed up. Midwife appointment on Monday and hoping I'll get a sweep but a bit nervous.

I didn't think sweep and more uncomfortable than a smear 2blessed.

40+5 and sick of it (currently summer here and was 30 degrees over xmas). Sick of everyone apart from in very short doses and DH now due to go back to work on 7th January and in middle of project crisis so unlikely to get additional time off. Had a sweep on 26th Dec and all looking good but nothing happening and I'm sure it is due to having people visiting all the time but DH not comfortable telling everyone to back off. Was induced with my first at 40+12 so at least I know that if I am induced it should be fairly straight forward but am sick of the heat, tiredness and very irritated by everyone.

btw - I though sweep was less uncomfortable than smear.

ok, smears don't bother me too much so here's hoping...

Hope your sweep works 2blessed. My lo still isn't showing any signs of wanting to appear, so looks like I'm headed for induction tonight. :(
