it was a difficult pony and I had to work hard to stop it eating everything

I think I have seriously strained everything from the top of my knees to my waist - cannot bear to walk and standing on one leg is impossible. Am I completely buggered now? (38 wks pg)

Enid, you've probably strained your ligaments, they are loads more stretchy at this point of pregnancy. Get lots of rest today and take some paracetamol if you need it, should only take a day or two to be back to normal. In fact, you might even have helped the baby engage a bit by stretching everything.

Rest now so you're in tip top condition for the big PUSH!! Maybe you can be the first of all us May mummies!!

Hope you feel much better with a bit of a rest.
