I'm a very exhausted 14 wks. Dh is still at work, ds is wound up like you wouldn't believe and I'm so tired I could cry in a puddle.

Anyone else finding this Christmas so much more exhausting?

I'm even thinking of going to extreme measure of washing my hair tonight so it's one less job tomorrow. I'm going insane aren't I?

I am but I've caught a cold and it has hit me hard today. I nearly passed out in the shops today too! I hope I feel brighter tomorrow because it will ruin crimbo if I still feel like this :-( on the upside, I started to feel less tired from about 15 weeks and even started to feel really good (until I caught this) x

I wasn't until DH decided that the last weekend before xmas would be a really good time to go shopping for new baby essentials. Like what tiny part of his brain could possibly have imagined that would be a good idea?

He's also a nightmare in shops as stuff like actually looking at the sizes is beyond him, so he will collar some poor assistant and get them to explain in words of two syllables which sleep suits fit a new born (here's a hint... the ones with 'newborn' written on the label), and then try out every single pram in the shop despite having been told 90% of them are not suitable for gravel driveways or pot holed country lanes (we live with both...).

I am now v stressed, in need of a sit down and seriously considering trading him in for a lower maintenance option Grin

I've made a stand I'm bathed and in pjs already! Very in attractive ones but god they are comfy.

Just been cheered up by the fact that baby was kicking/popping away and my partner even managed to feel it for the first time :-) x

I am so tired. 21 weeks with dc3 and Dc are 3 and 2. I was dozing on the sofa this afternoon whine they were watching Arthur Christmas! In my pjs already and will eat and go to bed. I have honestly never been this tired. Hoping it will pass after Christmas. My dc are so excited so know that we will have an early start tomorrow :-)

in an attempt to make tomorrow easier I spent nearly all day in the kitchen today. my back Is killing but for reasons beyond logic we are about to go out for a friends birthday. it won't be late for me though!

I'm a very tired 10+5 weeker, I could sleep standing up and MS is a lie, I feel sick all day. Really want my 4 year old to go to bed, but he's looking forward to seeing The snowman and the Dog. I have no idea how I'm going to stay awake long enough t oput the pressies out-can't leave it to DH, he has no idea what's what!!

cupcake78 · 26/12/2012 17:05

Spent most of today in bed or being sick after a very long day yesterday. Hoping things

Sick today and yesterday then got indigestion from eating!
Had a little cry before the in laws arrived!
It'll all be worth it next christmas though with my own little christmas pudding! Is is bedtime yet?!

FaLaLaLaLauraPalmer · 26/12/2012 18:31

Yes, but at almost 34weeks I sort of expected it. I keep forgetting to relax and 'take it easy'. When I feel up and in good spirits I do stuff as normal...and then end up ridiculously exhausted. Stupid me. Angry

DoodleHolly · 26/12/2012 19:23

24 weeks and shattered after several interrupted nights sleep.

But surprised how tired I am. Think once I stop for any period of time I start hibernating!
