Just that.
Not TTC.
The opposite in fact.

Not really ready for it to be a BFP.
I know it says on the paperwork any line is a positive.
But I've done two tests. One yesterday (middle of the day) and one this morning (first wee) and both lines were so faint I could almost be imagining them.
AF due yesterday.

Do you EVER get a silly little faint line for a negative??

chevytruck · 23/12/2012 09:41

I am going to be in so much trouble.

OP posts:
TinkyPeet · 23/12/2012 09:42

I got very very faint positives for about a week, I'm now 10 weeks. You're upduffed! Why would you be in trouble? It takes 2 and all that!!...

chevytruck · 23/12/2012 09:45

Oh god, oh god.
Because I didn't want to take the pill any more. Was making me super depressed.
And not to mention the fact that it reduced my sex life to zero.
I said I wanted a year off.

TinkyPeet · 23/12/2012 09:47

Well then your oh should have taken his own precautions then shouldn't he! Relax Hun, the first step is telling him, then go from there. Good luck x

chevytruck · 23/12/2012 09:48

Telling him. Jesus.
Should I wait til after Xmas??

OP posts:
chevytruck · 23/12/2012 09:49
Hmm
OP posts:
chevytruck · 23/12/2012 09:52

Oh god I'm freaking out. Terrified of telling him.

OP posts:
TinkyPeet · 23/12/2012 09:55

Personally I wouldn't wait. If you're this freaked out now your not going to enjoy Xmas if you're bottling it up

chevytruck · 23/12/2012 09:56

But what if it ruins Xmas? We've worked so hard to make it wonderful for the children.

OP posts:
TinkyPeet · 23/12/2012 09:59

Well if you tell him today then hopefully you can sort it out and get on with xmas

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 23/12/2012 10:01

Why are you so scared to tell your oh? You're both responsible for making this baby.

chevytruck · 23/12/2012 10:03

Because he didn't react very well with the news of our first baby. To say the least. Even though we were actually trying.
We're having some hard times anyway and are barely speaking as it is.

Just think it'll end up being my fault and then we won't speak over Xmas.

OP posts:
chevytruck · 23/12/2012 10:04

And because ultimately I'm not sure if I want another baby either.

OP posts:
chevytruck · 23/12/2012 10:22

Please don't leave me on my own... Sad

Did your partner know you were off the pill?

If so he's got to have been aware that any tune you had unprotected sex you might have got pregnant. When you tell him do make sure you don't accept all the responsibility. It will just make it that much easier for him to 'blame' you if he's likely to do that.

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 23/12/2012 10:30

As tinkypeet said, it takes two so it is it just 'your fault' what is he like in general? Are you scared of him all the time?

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 23/12/2012 10:31

It is not just your fault. Not whatever I wrote

BaublesandTree · 23/12/2012 10:37

Hey try not to worry everything will be fine in the end whatever you decide. Either you will have another baby or you will have an abortion - neither will be easy but equally neither will have to ruin your lives. if you make your decision for the best of reasons you won't regret it forever (there may be some times though). There will be tough decisions you need to share this with your OH. Regardless of the fact that you chose to come off the pill it still takes 2 to make a baby. If he was certain he didn't want another baby then he had contraceptive choices too. I hope you manage to work things out

chevytruck · 23/12/2012 10:59

He knew I was off the pill, yes.

I've told him. He took one look at me and knew something was wrong. I've just said I'm not ready to discuss specifics or decisions. We'll think about it in the New Year.
He was fine. Cuddled me... Smile
Thanks everyone.

Thanks too baubles. It's nice to hear some plain talking when everything is whirring round your brain.

BaublesandTree · 23/12/2012 11:51

I'm sorry if I sounded stern. I'm not very good at injecting warmth into text. Im glad your OH responded well I Hope you figure out the best thing for your family Smile in the meantime I hope you can enjoy Christmas and not let it play on your mind too much

chevytruck · 23/12/2012 12:23

You didn't sound stern baubles. Just matter if fact. Honestly, thanks.
Seeing the 'a' word written down was more shocking than thinking it though. Left me thinking...

OP posts:
TinkyPeet · 23/12/2012 12:51

I really do hope you make the best decision for your family, I think it's wise waiting till after the festivities to do so and I'm glad your oh responded well. Good luck x

Still no AF.
Not done another test but seems fairly conclusive.
Feeling bad today though, crampy and sore.
Don't remember this with either if the first two.
Is it likely something might be going wrong?
