32 weeks preg with cold flu blocked sinus what can i take

im currently 32 week preg feeling terrible took sudafed tonight some relief and just now some paracetamol, my ribs and every bit of me ache with flu pains and from coughing! any tips on getting rid of this and what is safe to take.

ps visited gp on thurs who said it had to run its course!!!

Sorry to hear you are feeling so rough.

Try saline spray for sinuses.

Glycerine and honey for cough.

Steam inhalation.

Special brew:

Hot water, juice half lemon, 2cm cube ginger sliced, slices of chilli, cinnamon stick piece, a few cloves, lots of honey.

Lots of rest.

Have just read the other thread about an amazing tip for when you're choked with the cold....have a wee look, I've tried it just now, and it does seem to have made a bit of a difference.
