I am new on this site and would like to talk with other people in the early stages of pregnancy. This is my first child and am feeling rather anxious and nervous

I would highly reccomend getting on an ante-natal thread for your due date. I can link to the relevant one if you tell be when you're due?

This forum is more for asking questions about pregnancy: are there any symptoms that are bothering you at the moment?
