Second scan, baby has shrunk and died :(

This is my second miscarriage in 2 months and we will have to endure losing it over xmas. We had a scan at 7+4 and was 5.6mm and no heartbeat seen and then had a follow up scan a week later and baby was 3mm and still no heartbeat.

We are so distraught with grieve. So far, my body still thinks my baby lives. My nipples have gone darker and i feel sick today. No sign of bleeding or pain yet. I just want it over with. I have my last scan on 31st december to see if its all gone. If i havent bled by then, then i will opt for a d&c

I'm so sorry for your loss, especially at this time of year.

I mc in Feb at 7 weeks and again in March at 5 weeks. We were advised to leave ttc for a month to let my body recover. We followed advice and fell pregnant the next month. We're now 35 weeks pg and all straight forward.

I'm sure you'll get your happy ending too. Wishing you all the best for good news next year. x

im so sorry hun, I lost my daughter at 5 months, 2 days after i got married and instead of honeymoon ended up arranging funeral. ive had a wonderful baby since and am expecting again, take each day as it comes and take strength from eachother . you will get through this x

Thankyou everyone for your lovely support. I just wish my body would recognise it as my nipples have gone darker and im still feeling sick. It just seems so unfair :(

I'm so so sorry to hear this.

I don't know much about this, but I think you can opt to have the D&C asap so you don't have to wait over Christmas for the miscarriage. Perhaps some other posters with more knowledge might be able to confirm this.
