I was expecting it to come on time because waters broke bang on due date with dd. So now I am very impatient even though only one day over so far. When shall I crack open the pineapple and raspberry leaf tea?

Don't bother, sit on your arse and eat chocolate instead Grin

Seriously- raspberry leaf does not induce, though may help contractions to be more effective whe you are in labour.

Pineapple you would have to eat around 9 fresh ones in one sitting to do anything at all.

Sex- maybe

Curry/castor oil etc- the idea is that because your bowl and uterus are so close if you irritate one it irritates the other so if you eat curry and have curry poo you might set yourself off. Same reason you tend to have loose poo in early labour or around your period. Just not a good plan though, especially spicy curry if you are sick in labour.....

So enjoy the last days of your pregnancy, stock up on sleep and make everyone wait on you hand and foot :)

That's interesting - waters broke with dd (no contractions though so induced 24 hours later) after a very big difficult poo!
