Not really sure how to ask this...(TMI)

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and this evening my...erm...undercarriage/bits on one side feels like its bruised and swollen. Ouch! Is this normal or have I done something?! I haven't knocked it (!) or hurt it as far as I know!

Help!

Varicose vein?

It's thrush just itchy, with a discharge?

A varicose vein?! How do I know if it's that?

Ladyparts swelling is very normal and they can be quite sore. Google varicose vein and then you'll know what you're looking for.

This sounds like what I had. Swollen on one side. Midwife looked at mine and couldn't actually see a varicose vein but said it might be more under the skin.

Mine used to swell up more the further through pregnancy I got and when I was on my feet for long periods.

It went away when I gave birth.
