pain in right side?

I'm in early pregnancy and every now and then I get this stabbing pain down my right side. Is this normal or could something be wrong?

You need to get checked out because one-sided pain can be a symptom of ectopic pregnancy. People can get some pain in a normal pregnancy, but 'stabbing' sounds quite severe. Do you have an early pregnancy unit that you can go to?

Thankyou pozzled I'm trying to find the number for the unit as my letter stupidly doesn't provide one! The pain is quote high up around where my right kidney is and it's just every now and then its just a quick pain then it's gone again but it has been going on all day

I had similar round the back - I had a UTI which tracked up to my kidney. None of the usual UTI symptoms (and I've had loads!). You definitely need to get checked out but hopefully it's as simple as mine was.
