38 weeks and finding it a struggle

Sorry to come in here and have a moan, but I am finding it a real struggle at the moment. I have been having period pain type pains, plus some tightening pains across my stomach on and off for the past 24 hours. They don't seem to be increasing in strength and frequency so I don't think it is the start of anything :-(

I also feel quite agitated and restless. I have been quite lucky during the pregnancy and this is the first real time that I have felt it is a struggle. I know she still has just under 2 weeks until she is due, but I feel like I am ready for her to come out now. The baby's movements are becoming more painful and it feels like she is going to pop out of my skin at times.

Sorry again to moan, but needed to get it out of my system I think :-)

You have my total sympathy, 38+1 and suffering with everything you mention. It doesn't help that 2yo DD is not sleeping well at the moment so dead on my feet!!

Thinking that going back to work would be easier at the moment Hmm.

Are you able to rest in the day at all?

I'm 39 +2 and feeling exactly the same, especially the wierd agitated, restless feelings and lots of BHs, but no sign of anything yet.

I had this last time too and dd was 2 weeks late so I'm trying not to think anything could be imminent.

Not long for any of us to go even if their late. Good luck!

Last time I had nothing, no braxton hicks or anything until 41 weeks so it's hard not to hope think that DS might arrive before Xmas even he's not due until 28th!!
