Hi everyone,

I guess I just need to share this. I am 6+3 and already struggling with all the symptoms! This is my 2nd pg but I had an early mc with the last so havent experienced this before. I am sure all my symptoms are normal but is is normal to feel 'how am I going to cope when I am further along'?? I am so tired, I feel sick all the time and under the weather. As I feel sick I am not exercising (used to do 4 times a week) and I am just eating what I feel I can which tends to be salty unhealthy food. I guess I just dont feel like myself...

Sorry for the moan, just wondered if anyone else feels like this? I know I should be happy to be pg, especially as I was desperate to get pg again after the mc and now I feel ungrateful Xmas Sad.

For many people the start is the worst bit :)

It gets better then worse again, it really does. First weeks are really tough.

The first bit can be terrible but you'll feel better once it's passed. Don't think in terms of 'nine months feeling like this' because you won't.

Almond I know exactly how you feel. I'm
8+5 and suffering from hyperemesis. I had a mmc in July and I know I should be grateful that I'm pregnant again but I'm so fed up of being sick all the time and basically bed bound. So try not to feel bad as you're not the only one. Being sick constantly doesn't exactly help after all!

The first trimester is tough, but it does get better like the others say. I think it's also hard because there's no bump so it's hard to feel pregnant, and you just end up feeling a bit ill. I'm 10 weeks with #2, and I found the first few weeks the hardest of the whole pregnancy last time.

Remember, by the end of the first trimester most of the major organs are there and working. So every time I feel rough I try and remember that I'm doing the hard stuff right now!

Thank you Almond...I'm seriously praying this HG goes. Having ice lollies at this time in the weather to ease my nausea slightly and heartburn is edging on madness!! Keep your chin up my dear and remember you're not alone x

Also expecting number two and not feeling like I'm glowing. I had a miscarriage 3 months ago and am only 8 weeks PG now so holding my breath. I don't think until I've had a scan and seen evidence of baby that I will really believe it's happening.

All I have at the moment is a bit of nausea and I'm tired but what do you expect with a two year old to look after. My body is also turning into dough as I've not been running my usual 4 times and week and I've been indulging in quite a few festive treats. I'm quite worried I'm going to turn into a massive Christmas turkey!
