I think my MW is fantastic, but I really wish she would stop telling me how big baby and baby's head is.
"Hey Lady, I have to push this thing out, allow me to be blissfully ignorant and convinced this baby is no bigger that a barbie doll and will literally shoot out with no pain what so ever" Xmas Grin.

yeah, think small :-D

At our 20 wk scan last time, we were told the baby was going to be big and to expect something about 10lbs! I was well terrified, but as it turned out, I had to be induced at 39 weeks and he popped out an average 7lb 14 - phew.

So, you never know, it might all end up being nonsense, and I do know several women who had big babies (9-10lb) after having average sized babies (7-8lb) and they swear that at the point of delivery, they all felt the same size!

My MW kept telling me our baby was big but at the scans they said he was fine, there was 8cm of fluid in front of him and 5cm behind him. My last scan (growth scan), they took his leg measurements three times with 2 different nurses and then they still couldn't decide how big he was. The consultant thought that one of the previous measurements was wrong and that baby was not big and it was all fluid.

It turns out consultant was right, he was born weighing 7lb 7oz, but when my waters went they didn't half go and it kept coming for 3 hrs whilst we were waiting to be seen, lol x
