(posted in chat too but here makes more sense!)
We're ttc and I've been expecting (or not) my period any day - been feeling sick all week, with stomach cramps in last 2 days (all per last pg) - but started bleeding last night, and it seems to be full heavy period. I feel pregnant though (although test says otherwise) - could I be, or does full period probably mean no? I know you can have light spotting with implantation, but i don't see how it could be full...?
I foolishly googled and it talks about ectopic pregnancies and how you should never ignore bleeding (although if it's just normal period then clearly bleeding isn't an issue...)
Anyone wise with experience?!

What pregnancy symptoms do you have? Are you sure they're not normal period symptoms?

Obviously don't want to burst your bubble if you're TTC hon but a full bleed does sound like a period I'm afraid. Sad

No bubble-bursting-don't worry :) I can't see how I am either- but the sickness I feel is exactly the same as last pregnancies, at same times of day, I have gone off the same food, and just generally feel pregnant - though could very easily be psychological wishful thinking!
Just thought I'd get some thoughts as you hear about people who still have periods whilst pregnant...wasn't sure how much of a period they are iyswim.
Thanks for replying :)

I have had a full af while being pregnant but it would show up on a pregnancy test if you are, if it was implantation it can take a few days until there would be enough hcg in your system to show, if you still test negative then I'd assume it's your body preparing for af, don't worry about ectopic etc at this point as that's only if you've had a positive test and it's started developing in your tube that you would bleed,

Fwiw I know someone who had full on periods as she unknowingly had 2 wombs. She didn't realise she was pregnant until 7mths gone Grin
