Hello, am 38 wks + 2 and today have been having a little bit of brown blood, then pinkish blood in my pants / when I wipe. Not a lot at all, literally teeny bit of spotting and its not there every time I go to the loo. The thing is its just blood, no mucus so I don't feel like its the mucus plug. I called my midwife and she said not to worry if its not fresh blood, and so long as its not very much.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and was it a sign that labour is around the corner?
