Stupid ice is so dangerous, I haven't done the same but if your still worried I would speak to your midwife and just let her know you fell and your belly is feeling sore!! everything is probably fine but if your worried it doesn't hurt to put your mind at rest x

Hi, I fell over in much the same way after stepping onto a skateboard (not in view due to my huge belly and my 3 year old held in my arms) just a couple of weeks ago. I was 36 weeks along, so it was a very painful fall and, apart from displacing my sacrum and finding it painful to walk for about 2 weeks, no real harm was done. My baby is well protected and cushioned inside me, which yours will be too!

I'd say that you should just take it as easy as possible and let your body recover from the shock, but that it's unlikely your baby has been affected.

So, try to relax and not stress. x

I fell last week and broke my ankle and sprained my wrist! My baby was absolutely fine no harm done at all so I'm sure baby is fine too. X

I had a fall onto my bump at 32 weeks. I had a lack of movements afterwards so ended up in triage but all was fine, I was just very sore for a week or so.

Then another fall at 39 weeks but just hurt my bum and arm. I didn't go to triage that time.

Babies are very well cushioned so it seems you need a lot of force to do them any harm.

But if you're worried or have any bleeding then call straight away.
