I'm having a little worry today....

I'm 9+2 today and woke up feeling great - I mean, for the first time I actually felt good..no nausea, no painful breasts, my skin looked a little brighter and I generally feel, well, not pregnant.

That concerned me this morning as usually I've been feeling everything under the sun, so in a bit of a panic I trickled on to one of those cheapy internet tests. These have been super strong with immediate results leading up to this, but this morning it was faint. Ok, so I didn't have that much pee, it was a trickle, but none the less, its got me a little worried about whether somehing has happened. I've no pain or bleeding.

I've rung up to have a private scan on Saturday as I just need to know, but I never thought the lack of symptoms would disappear so suddenly at such an early stage? Its knocked me sideways today and I just needed to share this with you in case anyone had experienced the same.

Sorry for the long post, but you know how it is when you have these worries :-(

I'm in the same boat as you, woke on Monday feeling great and very much not pregnant. Even though Ive had a bit of nausea since it's not half as bad as it was. Thinking of an early scan too. Im only 7+5 so you are a bit ahead of me. I think at 9 weeks the placenta takes over so it's possible that that is why you are feeling well?. Im worried cos 7-9 weeks was when I felt worst with DS so it's too early for me to feel well. DH cant understand that Im not enjoying feeling ok after moaning for the past month about how wretched I've felt! Good luck x

Hi, I had a very similar thing happen at about 8 and a half weeks, woke up one day no sickness no painful boobs basically felt normal, totally threw me into a panic. Fortunately I had a lovely doctor who sent me for an early scan at my local EPU. Everything was fine and am now 15 weeks along. I think it's pretty common, though definitely scary. If you're worried ask the doctor to refer you xx

I started to feel better around 8 weeks but got a whole new set of symptoms a week later (now 10+2) so dont worry, its normal for it to be all over the place.

Ignore the test, it really won't tell you anything.

Hi magoo, suzy and Penguins....really appreciate your words...it has just really thrown me....being my first time I've just not known really what to expect and then this sudden switch to feeling good has worried me - especially the test this morning. I know I shouldn't have done it now in hindsight.

I'm reassured that it seems to be 'normal' at this stage to feel a little better...I now wish my symptoms would come back just so I know! I will try to be patient.

Thanks ladies and congrats on your bundles x
