Extreme and sudden hunger?

I'm T1 diabetic and so I know low blood sugars haven't been the cause of this...I'm 21 weeks pregnant and I'm getting extreme bouts of sudden hunger that hit like a steam train. Like I need to eat something there and then otherwise I'll freak out. It's quite scary actually. I can't settle until I've scoffed something - and it's got to be something sufficient like a big sandwich. Anyone else?

Yep, and constantly hungry. Breakfast an hour or 2 later followed by porridge another hour sausage sandwich an hour or so lunch, McDonald's then dinner with pudding.
Pretty much that's how it went!! People were quite critical but I was absolutely starving! So I decided I must need the food otherwise i wouldn't be that hungry.

Yep me too. I posted about it a while ago as I was worried. I'm making sure I have a large banana in my bag wherever I go and I try to eat something every 2 hours.
It seems worse from around 10am-5pm but before and after these times it never strikes.
I'm hoping it'll calm down soon or I'm going to gain shed loads of non baby weight!

I think it's natural to feel like this - but if you get a hollow gnawing hunger pain in your stomach that could also be acid indigestion. I sometimes get that with no other symptoms, and I think I need to eat something, but it's just my stomach making too much acid.
