I am 36+1 an having an elective 37+6. At the beginning I was told by the MW that I had to give up fruit teas - I only drink the red berry type ones (twinings in pink packet or aldi very berry - strawberry raspberries blue berries pomegranate those flavours etc) but she said the hibiscus in them put me at risk of miscarriage. Are these still a risk at this stage? As i see lots of posts about people drinking raspberry tea to prepare for labour? Thanks

The tea is raspberry leaf tea which is different to raspberry fruit tea. It's meant to help soften the cervix so I imagine not a priority for you if you are having elcs!

Not sure about drinking fruit tea though sorry. I would have thought it was ok...

Thanks Ivana, i think for the sake of the next few days i will avoid my beloved teas, better safe than sorry, I guess it must be the presence of hibiscus. Ive packed some teabags in my hospital bag l, not long I suppose!
