Pregnancy Music Belt

Hi,

Has anyone used a pregnancy music belly belt/band? Is it safe to use it? Are there any downsides to using such a belt/band?

Have never heard of one of these but I guess it is some device to play music to bump? Can't really see the point as from a certain gestation the baby is able to hear what is going on in the world around them anyway so you can just play music out loud?

Sounds a pointless waste of money to me. Just stick the CD or IPod on!
