Would alleviate the lower back pain/ constipation that started this am I think. But is it safe?

Mixed thought but I've used mine and also used heated seats in car and electric blanket in bed.
Just make sure you don't over heat but it will help the pain.

Depends how hot and how long you have it on for, I imagine. I tend to have a towel over it before putting it directly on my skin anyway, so might be an idea. Also, perhaps just have it on for 15 minutes. Should make pain less and not harm the little one.

I used a hot water bottle in early labour. I'm sure it'll be fine.

Yes it's safe.

You will receive superficial burns to your skin before you harm your baby.

Never fill a hot water bottle with boiling water, and always use a cover/wrap it in a towel.
