Natural delivery after 2 C sections?

It is normal to be offered this? I had 2 C sections and yesterday (at a consultant clinic, seen by young doctor) I was offered a natural delivery for my 3rd pregnancy. This felt very odd - especially as in my notes it said I must, in the future have a C section (doctor clearly had not read my notes). I told him I thought no-one was not allowed one third time round and he said 'you can choose anything you like... you could choose to jump off a bridge tomorrow if you wanted'. Shocked! Thankfully I was not feeling suicidal.

Bless him guess he skipped the communication skills module ^^ You probably can choose that option if you want and you have to bear in mind that they see lots of people who all want different things - its hard to pre-empt what people are going to want or say to you. Working with the general public is a constant delight in that way.... And he is young I reckon cut him a bit of slack, he will hopefully learn to express himself a bit more clearly....

I tried but only at my insistence. They weren't too keen and I ended up with section anyway

I had 2 c sections, on my third pregnancy my doctors and MW were adamant that should also be a c section, So I did. Now on my forth pregnancy and I am sure this will also be c section as my womb is not brilliant and risk of rupture is pretty high :(
